What makes GoSHIFT so great
GoSHIFT, as the name suggests, is a delivery service which allows users to upload bulk deliveries and book a delivery Runner for an entire Shift to take care of them. But how do you know how long a shift needs to be, you ask? Because we have EWT. Estimated Working Time (EWT) technology gives users accurate delivery timeframes based on the deliveries you upload, which means you get the length of the shift required spot on – no time or money wasted.
GoSHIFT also engages smart routing algorithms which use real-time information to calculate the fastest route for our delivery Runners who take care of multiple deliveries. And we know it works, because we’ve had plenty of experienced couriers try to beat the system and fail!
We’re committed to transparency in everything we do, which means we’ll also provide our users and their customers with access to a live tracking map while offering email and SMS updates (if wanted).
So, what’s new?
Soon, GoSHIFT users will be able to do more than uploading bulk orders and booking a shift – they’ll also be able to group jobs and assign those groups to different delivery runners. This promises to bring many new benefits to our users.
Whether you decide to group jobs by geographical location, type of recipient, or product, our EWT technology will work alongside this new functionality to give you an accurate delivery timeframe for each group. EWT works so well with the concept of grouping jobs because it considers things like geographical factors and the difficulty of deliveries (hospitals etc.).
Grouping jobs could mean your customers in easy to reach locations don’t hang around for those other more awkward deliveries to be dropped off first. Meanwhile, grouping jobs and booking accurately calculated delivery shifts for each one also means our users benefit from an even more efficient logistics management process.
Think about it this way – rather than booking 1 of our Runners for 8 hours to traverse the entire city with all your deliveries, you might engage 2 delivery runners who target different areas within a 3-hour shift. That’s a total of 6 hours, not 8! So, everyone’s a winner, your customers get their delivery faster, and it’s cheaper too.
But we’re not stopping there. Users who prefer to use their own delivery drivers can still benefit from GoSHIFT’s sophisticated logistics management solutions and transparency by integrating their own drivers into the Go People system. We’re all about helping our users manage their deliveries better, however it works!
