So, we’ve sought to make this experience even more complete with our new Go People plug-in.

The Go People plug-in for Shopify makes the process of fulfilling orders easier and quicker by enabling Shopify users to automatically shift their deliveries to the Go People booking platform. Not only does it streamline the courier booking process, but it also ensures customers receive those lighting fast deliveries they’re all looking for (because here at Go People, we only have two speeds; same-day and under 3-hours!)

The Go People plug-in couldn’t be simpler to use. From their Go People account, Shopify users can navigate to the Shopify settings page, enter their Shopify URL and hit install. Easy! From here, Shopify users will be able to configure their settings to display Go People as an option for delivery as part of the customer journey.

And there’s more. Once the new Go People plug-in is installed and ready to go, retailers will discover two ways to fulfil an order: individually, and in bulk. For individual deliveries, retailers can select the order and simply select “Send to Go People” under the “Apps” menu on the orders page. Alternatively, multiple orders can be selected from the Shopify orders page, after which, retailers can select “Send to Go People” from the “Bulk actions” menu.

From here, all the information needed to book the delivery will be automatically passed to the Go People platform without any manual intervention. Shopify users will then be redirected to the Go People “Send a parcel” page where they will find their delivery items which can be processed as normal.   

The Go People plug-in will ensure Shopify retailers are delivering an excellent customer experience from the start of the customer journey, right through to the end. Because today, it’s not just about delivering a great online experience and making the buying process as easy as possible – but also getting the product in the hands of the customer as quickly as possible.
